This year’s theme is Lights, Camera, Action, inviting groups, businesses and individuals to bring their favourite films, television programmes and theatre productions to life. Costumes, props, floats, music and dance are all part of the fun as the town turns the seafront into a living stage.
More than 1,500 walkers are expected to take part, with around 25,000 spectators lining the route to support the parade.
The main Carnival procession will travel along the seafront from Fisherman's Green to the Wish Tower Slopes, starting at 2pm. The Mayor of Eastbourne will launch the opening procession from the Enterprise Shopping Centre at midday, followed by a lively street party at Victoria Place on the seafront end of Terminus Road from around 4.30pm.
