In March this year, the district and local councils met with the Deal and Walmer Chamber of Trade on behalf of local businesses to look at packaging together a range of opportunities to boost Deal business.
This included event opportunities, promoting the town and its attractions, visual art displays, making vacant shop fronts more attractive, and promoting the variety of free car parking spaces and public car park options.
There were very positive messages of cooperation from all parties, and a willingness to all work together to boost business for the town during the current economic climate.
Future talks are planned and we want to know what initiatives you would like to see implimented locally to promote our town and support trade within it?
