Tell KCC Where You Think They Can Save Money

I just picked up this great opportunity which enables local people to contribute their ideas on where KCC can make savings to help the county through the current ecomonic climate so here it is , your chance to have your say! Here it is:

 

'Bold Steps for Kent', is KCC's medium term plan to 2014/15.  This sets out how KCC will deliver radical reform to meet the huge challenges its faces with the massive hole in public finances.

 

The draft of this document is now out for consultation and I have attached a link to KCC's website that provides a copy of the document and an opportunity for you to comment.

Broadly this document will describe how KCC is responding to the challenge of budget savings and outlines its three clear ambitions, to grow the Kent economy, to put the citizen first and to tackle disadvantage. 

 

Running alongside this is 'Your Voice, Your Services', a campaign that explains what KCC is doing to be more open and accountable.  KCC wants to involve residents in identifying those services that are really valued and make suggestions for savings.  You can find out more by visiting:
