Bigfoot Arts Education is looking to take on organised, self-motivated people to join a newly established team of telemarketing specialists.
You will generate appointments for our schools coordinators all over the UK who set up performing arts workshops in schools to help develop children's confidence and communication skills. This role isn't about working to a pitch but we need people who can effectively communicate their warm personality and talk intelligently to school secretaries and teachers about the importance of our work, so it is essential to have a real passion for the arts and education in order to succeed in this role. Experience of working or participating within the arts or education sector would be strongly desirable.
Most of your time will be spent on the phone to school secretaries, teachers and educational advisors, making around 100+ outbound calls per day. Candidates must have proven previous experience in a telesales or sales/advocacy role and be available to work flexibly between the hours of 8.30am and 4:30pm, every day during school term time (39 weeks). You will not be required to work during school holiday periods.
This can be a home based role once training and mentoring has finished (1-2 weeks), with at least a minimum of one day a week in our offices based in Deal, Kent or Clapham Junction, London (whichever is closest). Remuneration would be £7.50 per hour plus bonuses for hitting and exceeding target meetings (Minimum expectation £3,000, pro rata).
