What's on in Croydon this autumn?

This autumn in Croydon will once again be a busy time for residents. There's a lot going on, and probably not enough time in our diaries to fit it all in!

I've compiled a little list of some notable bits and pieces, but also check out our Croydon Events page for other things to get you out and about.

"36 Croydon Views" - Art Exhibition by CALAT

14 September - 2 October
 9.30am - 5pm

Open to all, it showcases the work of three different groups of Croydon Adult Leaners who attend one of CALAT's Drawing and Painting Classes at Croydon High Street or at Smitham in Coulsdon.
The challenge of this project was for the learners to paint using only one colour looking at Croydon environments based on their own sketches and photos.

Ha Ha Hitler!
The Great-ish Escape

The Most Hilarious Wartime Story Never Told

11 Sep 2009 - 11 Oct 2009 20.00
Croydon Warehouse Theatre Dingwall Road Croydon , CR0 2NF

Following the hit national tour of "Ha Ha Hamlet!" The Ha Ha Boys bring you their spin on "The Great Escape."
It's 1942, German occupied France. Three hopeless RAF pilots plan an escape from the infamous stronghold Chateau Plonke.
Under the watchful eye of General Von Schnitzershitz, Tom, Dick and Hilary take you on an unforgettable journey of ridiculous Luftwaffe laughter with a plot thicker than Hitler's moustache.
What do German Generals get up to behind closed doors? Will Tommy find romance with French beauty Sophie Ce Soir? How will our heroes disguise themselves?
And how important is the Enigma Machine code book to the outcome of the world's most talked about war?
This is the most hilarious war time story never told.
