Fairfield Halls is once again offering a delightful selection of performances in the New Year - perfect for brightening things up before spring time.
Just two of my favourites listed here, check out the Fairfield theatre website for full details of all their upcoming productions.

Die Fledermaus
Opera Della Luna
Tues 19 & Wed 20 January 7.45pm, Wed mat 2.30pm

Dr Falke was once left to wander home, drunk, and dressed as a bat, by his friend Gabriel von Eisenstein. To exact his revenge he arranges for Eisenstein to attend an extremely risque party and there Eisenstein seduces a mysterious Hungarian countess, who is in fact his own wife in disguise. An evening not to be missed by all fans of opera and lunacy!

Pete n' Dud In The Afterlife
Wed 6 - Sat 9 January 7.30pm
Saturday matinee 2.30pm

Dudley Moore dies to find an impatient Peter Cook, who's been waiting for 7 years in limbo in a bizarre bar. They now face Divine judgement for 'Derek & Clive' defended by other dead comics such as Tony Hancock - what chance do they have of atonement?
