Happily for most of us, we will be enjoying an extended Bank Holiday weekend as half term hits, but if your children are anything like mine they have a short attention span and low boredom threshold.

Monks Hill Leisure Centre has a programme of half term activities for 8 to 16 year olds to give you a bit of space and keep them out of mischief! From 6th to 8th June 10.00am til 3.00pm choose between Football coaching, Badminton, Dance or Dance cheerleading (and the Cheerleading is FREE!) They can work off a bit of energy, make new friends and learn a new skill, all for only £2 per session. Race round the mini Kart Track, tackle a game of Crazy Golf, or enter The Orb - the largest indoor play structure in the UK including a range of slides, mazes, labrynths and viewing pods.
