Threading or Waxing?

by Charlotte of London, Purley

Just in case you have never tried threading we thought that we would give you a little insight to why more and more clients choose to have threading rather than plucking or waxing.

As you are now no doubt aware, threading is a form of hair removal using a twisted piece of cotton thread (creating a loop) to pick up a line of hair and then remove it.

This creates a very clean and precise hairline and most clients find the process relatively painless.

Unlike tweezing or plucking threading removes one clean line of hair at all once making it much quicker and easier to shape the brows.

For women who want to  pursue a more natural beauty regime threading is the perfect choice as it does not involve the use of any products at all.

The after effects are minor, a small irritation of the skin or some redness, which should last for a few minutes only. You will be left with a much more defined brow.

One final point, because this treatment is relatively cheap, it would appear  more and more different types of businesses are offering this service, however we would recommend that you only use a qualified therapist or salon.
