It's Mega-Meeting Week at Venture Catalyst in Croydon

Good morning from a bright sunny VCHQ 24 years to the day since Bob Geldof and his Live Aid mates gave an object lesson in how to handle defeatists that tell you to ‘be realistic’ whilst using words like ‘can’t’ and ‘impossible’.
As our political masters, those shining wits of Westminster, head towards their summer recess – presumably to spend more time with their money; you can be sure of a valedictory note of ‘realism’ about us actually having any. Don't accept it.
We may not be running Live Aid this week – but we are running the VC mega-meeting. This is a combined meeting of the VC groups of Coulsdon, Croydon and Sutton and is open to all, irrespective of business category.
Our guest speaker is Simon Jordan who will be sharing his experience gained over 20 years in firms such as Sky, Virgin, ICI, BMW, B&Q and the BBC.
The meeting will be on Tuesday (TOMORROW) at the standard VC time of 18.00 – 19.30 and will be at Coulsdon Manor Hotel and will be free to VC members and All About Croydon ‘plus’ members. Non members will be charged at just £10 including VAT.
A large attendance is expected so please book immediately in case we need to put a cap on places available.
