Are you feeling in the festive spirit?

Christmas in Croydon offers something for everyone, from those who want to eat, drink and be merry to others who want to leave 21st century Croydon behind and enjoy a unique trip on a vintage steam train.

The Vujon

As we brace ourselves for mountains of turkey and brussel sprouts, this week may be the perfect time to avoid that traditional Christmas fayre and indulge in some fine Indian food and top class entertainment right here in Croydon.

Promising a fantastic atmosphere and an exquisite three course meal, this Friday sees the Vujon Indian Restaurant presenting A Christmas Special - an evening with Elvis and Tom Jones... courtesy of top Tribute Act, Paul Weaver. Having played at some of the top nightspots in Spain, brought the legend back to life in the South East and even an appearance on The Big Breakfast TV Show, this is an act not to be missed!

So if you're looking for great food, fabulous entertainment and a disco, all for £25, then look no further than the Vujon in Croydon this Friday December 16th.

Boulevard Christmas Party Night

Paul Weaver returns to Croydon on Monday 19th December to headline the Boulevard Christmas Party Night at the Boulevard Restaurant on Ruskin Parade in Croydon - a fantastic night's entertainment featuring the hits of Rod, Tina, Tom and Elvis, followed by a disco.

White Cliffs Christmas Lunchtime Tour

A day out on the Cathedrals Express is one to be remembered, especially around Christmas time. The historic carriages, the sound of the engine’s whistle and the smoke drifting past the window evoke memories of a bygone age.

For the first time in a number of years, the Cathedrals Express will call at Purley for a day trip through the Kent countryside, passing through the centre of Canterbury, with scenic views of the famous Cathedral, and carrying on to the Thanet Coast. The train will then head south along one of the most picturesque railways in Southern Britain, emerging at the foot of the famous White Cliffs of Dover.

This circular tour often appeals to those who wish to experience the leisurely pace of steam travel without the need to get off the train at a destination. Passengers can sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious meal before alighting back at their local station.
