Following the enormous success of the Croydon Fashion Festival, this autumn's what's on lists see the return of the Croydon Food Festival, with over 60 food-related free events between September 19th and October 4th 2009.
The team at Croydon Business Improvement District (BID) have joined forces with sponsors like Waitrose, The Whitgift Centre, and the Croydon Advertiser to create a programme guaranteed to wet the apetite.
Festivities kick off with free food give-aways, music and family entertainment on September 19th at the Waitrose stage area in the Town Centre. Throughout the festival, visitors will be presented with gourmet cooking demonstrations from top class guest chefs, international food markets and entertainment, as well as the chance to sample foods from around the world.
