The Tendring Business Meetup may only have been running for the past five months, yet it has already become a 'must-attend' event for local business owners.

With around thirty businesses based across Tendring and Colchester attending each month, local businesspeople have the opportunity to meet new people, make important contacts, build trade relationships and support their local business community... for free!

We all know that the economy is still struggling. However, free networking not only helps businesses discuss what's important to them but also brings people together to help each other and keep business as local as possible. Yes, there are plenty of paid networking events that take place on an almost daily basis, but what have you got to lose by going to one more, particularly if it's at absolutely no cost to yourself? Even if you make just one decent contact at the Tendring Business Meetup, it's more than worth the time spent.

Plus, you will be networking at The Fat Goose Restaurant in Tendring – a relaxing and informal venue, which is ideal for relaxed and informal networking!

As Leonardo Wood, organiser and regular attendee of the Tendring Business Meetup explains, “We have now been running this event for the past 5 months and it has since gone from strength to strength with more people in business finding out about it and wanting to come along, on average, over 30 business people attend each meeting.”

At the last meeting just before Christmas, a diverse range of businesses attended, including a personal trainer, HR consultant, hypnotherapist, mortgage consultant, photographer, business coach, chartered financial planner, accountant, internet marketing consultant, printer and security specialist.

The Tendring Business Meetup is completely free to attend and open to any business in the Tendring and Colchester areas. Officially, the event runs from 4:30pm until 6:30pm on the last Friday of every month (the next meeting is on Friday 31st January 2014) but you are more than welcome to arrive any time after 4pm, order a drink from the bar and start networking!

Please email Leonardo Wood to register your interest.
