BARCHESTER PREVIEWS COLCHESTER’S NEWEST CARE HOME
National care providerBarchesterHealthcare has offered Colchester locals a glimpse of the new care home under construction on Turner Road.
Mark McDonald, General Manager of the newly named Woodland View Care Home, was joined by Edward Pentney Chief Officer at Age UK to cut the ribbon of the brand new Marketing Suite.
The information suite was fitted out by Barchester’s team of expert interior designers and gives the local community an opportunity to see what the finished 60-bed care home will look like. The information suite features 60 homely bedrooms, a dining area and a living room, all designed with future residents in mind.
Mark McDonald, General Manager said: “Our Marketing Suite is a wonderful way for people to see the type of high quality environment that we are creating at Woodland View for the residents we will care for and the staff we will employ. It’s also a great way to say ‘hello’ to the local community and we encourage people from the local area to pop in for a cup of tea. We’ve already had some visitors and we’re expecting many more before the home opens.”
Information is available and one of the team at Woodland View will be able to answer any question and discuss the care options available when the home is ready to welcome residents in September
