Daniel is our new award winning chef who joins the team here at Woodland View in Colchester with a wealth of catering experience and knowledge. He trained as a chef for 3 years at Colchester College, then went on to work in Switzerland and London. During his professional chef career Daniel has worked in many catering environments, but his real passion is working in the healthcare setting where he can focus on delivering freshly prepared, nutritious meals with a person centred approach.
“I am really excited to be joining such a wonderful team at Woodland View and having the opportunity to be able to create and deliver amazing meals to our wonderful residents; my aim is to get away from the stereotypical kind of meals people think is offered in care environments and show that amazing food can and will be provided”
In his spare time Daniel enjoys to travel, experience new foods and cultures. Reading, keeping fit with walking and likes to try his hand at adventurous sports.
