Colchester Arts Centre, Colchester and Tendring Women’s Refuge, Colchester Canoe Club and Colchester Community Voluntary Services successfully bid for their share of Section 106 money, made available in March 2015 through Colchester Borough Council for building maintenance.

Each will be putting the money to good use on the repair and refurbishment of buildings between now and April 2016. Works will include replacement doors and windows, electrical wiring upgrades, heat detectors and a burglar alarm, improving the safety of each facility for all users.
