A great time was had by all at The Cotswold Show! With everything from Monster Trucks and fabulous food, to horse whispering and laser clay pigeon shooting, there was definitely something for everyone. There were a few access issues and a lot of people had to queue for well over an hour to get in on the Sunday but hopefully the wait was worth it! Thankfully the rain only came in short sharp bursts and didn’t spoil the weekend, though I think I will trying to get the mud off our belongings for quite some time to come..
I am pleased to announce that Thebestof Cirencester stand was a great success! We spoke to loads of people passionate about our local businesses and we have lots of testimonials and recommendations to add to the site. We also got to chat to some local business owners and some of the already featured business owners too including Melissa from Cirencester Acupuncture who we recently welcomed to the site.
The most recommended business of the weekend was by far Jesse's Bistro, though other popular choices were Jacks Cafe, Octavias bookshop, The Royal Oak in South Cerney and The Wheatsheaf in Oaksey which is sadly out of our area but we will certainly be paying them a visit to sample their delicous food!
Again we had bottles of English Sparkling Wine to be won and we will announce the winners shortly once they have been contacted.
