Any help would be appreciated by supporting  the charitable foundation in Alexander Monson's name. Its intention: to tackle police brutality. Specifically, it will assist victims and their families, irrespective of race, creed or status, by supporting human rights workers where abuses of power take place. The Foundation will also encourage and support a program where spiritual leaders, irrespective of creed, engage personally with the police to remind them strongly of the ethical obligations they owe to their fellow human beings.

I, Clementine Rainy-Brown, am currently very involved with creating the event for the wake and launch of the Alexander Monson Foundation which is to be held this week, 19th September at St Mary's Abbott, Kensington Church Street.

After being asked to write an article for Cotswold Style on the charity I hit google just to have a reread on some past articles written. A charity that is incredibly close to my own heart, holding a great understanding and compassion due to having lost my own beloved sister due to a shock horseriding accident ten years ago, also infact left in court with an unanswered and unknown cause of death. I didn't know how to begin even explaining the Monson story and came across the article below.

I need write nothing more, it says all you need to know. If you can read this without crumpling into a pool of tears you are a stronger person than I am. Maybe it's all just too close to home for me but to lose a sibling, your best friend bonded by blood is the most devastating thing I for sure will ever encounter. This boy deserves justice, please let's fight.

I am going to give this charity my absolute all. I endeavour to do all I can to raise awareness and funds. My intention is to create events of all sorts and variety which people will attend to enjoy all in aid of the foundation.

Stepping away from the truths and heartbreak behind the story the events are going to be fun, different and leave you all buzzing. There is going to be all sorts from glamorous nights of food, fizz and fashion to rustic tea parties or individual tailored small scale parties. In fact why not let me organise you a little event in aid.

However large or small your budget is there are ways of creating interest and a whirr so please do get in touch with me, Clementine Rainy-Brown.

tel: 07880545657, c.rainy-brown@hotmail.co.uk . Please do get in touch to hear of up and coming dates or merely to register your interest so I can notify and keep you updated on movements. If this has touched your heart in anyway or on whatever level please help.
