Decorative pottery workshop ( half day)
Tuesday March 11th, 9.30am – 12.30 and 1.30 – 4.30
Gateway Centre, Spine Road, South Cerney
If you have always wanted to have a ‘ go at pottery’ but never been sure how to start, then this workshop being organized by the Cotswold Water Park Trust is for you.
Renowned Stroud potter Bridget Williams will demonstrate how to make a bowl and a figure such as a bird, using local clay from the Cotswold Water Park. Bridget will also introduce you to some lovely decorative techniques to enhance your creation. Your finished items will be fired in Bridget’s kilns and be ready for collection a few weeks later. The workshop will take place in the delightful setting of the oak framed Gateway Centre, with its huge picture windows overlooking lake 6. Included in the price is a hot drink and a delicious Relish cake.
