Amazing work for the Chesterfield Community - bringing days gone by back
I would like to congratulate and thank you for your efforts to accomodate the branch at the recent Festival. It was a well organised and friendly event which was well attended. We are looking forward to attending future events. Thank you again.
Thank you for organising the canal festival. You did a super job and we enjoyed the week-end! I had lots of enquiries for signwriting and am sure that it will lead to future work, so it was successful from that respect too.
I must also say the level of welcoming by all the folks, at the festival to be unprecendented amongst any groups or societies I have joined in the past! In retrospect I can hardly believe that I was generally propositioned to participate in the boating vrew group, the work party group and the information trailer group! Obviously the thought of getting to pilot one of the Trusts boats, after due training, is a dream come true. Cheers!
Lovely to meet at he week-end and despite the weather it really was an excellent event - very well organised! We would like to become members of the trust and feel that if there is anything we can do to help when we're not boating/working we would like to give a little back! We of all people get a huge amount of enjoyment from what the Chesterfield Canal provides. I'm looking forward to hearing more about Hollingwood Lock. Many thanks.
We would like to thank all members of the Trust that we met over the week-end for making us so welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I also learned quite a bit about your organisation. This will come in useful for the article I am writing for our magazine about your festival. Thanks very much again for inviting us and I hope we meet up again at future events.
