A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.
All of our party had fresh fish meals.
The sea bass was exquisite, literally the best I have ever tasted. The sauce was a beautiful accompaniment, absolutely spot on. I can’t praise this highly enough.
The skate was cooked to perfection according to my friends.
And everything was beautifully presented and very tasty.

Such a wonderful little find !!! Cute little restaurant, was busier than expected. The waiters and waitress were so attentive . Super friendly and just lovely . Prices are great , can't fault them on that at all . Food was delicious, I think some garnish wouldn't go a miss , some salad with the starters to bulk them up a little as they were a little lonely on the plate . But the taste was perfect. It really is a lovely restaurant, and we will absolutely be going back . I do recall it highly !
Parking: Plenty of parking in many of the carparks in Chelmsford Town. Bonus is if you are eating after 6 pm it's only £2:50 to park .
Kid-friendliness: The waiters made my youngest child feel very welcome , they have wooden highchairs for you to use . I wouldn't say there is room for Amy prams as it's small inside . But other than that it's fine for children .
Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it's not wheelchair friendly as there's steps to get in to the restaurant and to get to the toilet you have to go down two sets of stairs .

The food was perfect and the atmosphere beautifully Italian (good, Italian music in the background, attentive waiters, quality tableware with textile napkins).
We ate a full four-meal dinner and every single course was awe inspiring.
I can recommend this place with the warmest heart.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Really took care of my and my partner whilst we were there, and made us feel so welcome. Every single member of staff was so lovely, the food was absolutely delicious, and the interior is so cozy and romantic!!! The waitress was particularly sweet and friendly, so shoutout to her:)

What a joy to be back in an intimate, authentic Italian restaurant. We were the only ones in there to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but that didn't take away from the restaurant ambiance. They dimmed the lights and lit candles! Attentive staff but not overbearing. The flavours of both dishes were sublime with the freshest ingredients. We felt very spoilt. Lovely chat with one of the owners/head chef at the end. We wish them well and will be back.

This restaurant is an absolute gem in Chelmsford. Eddie is a wonderful owner and cook, and works his socks off to provide a 10/10 service. I’ve been graciously welcomed every time i’ve been in the restaurant and it’s a very warm environment. I can only reccomend L’unuico to anybody reading this review. The food is tip-top, and the service is very friendly. Don’t miss out!

The best Authentic Italian restaurant in Chelmsford! The cheesy garlic bread, squid and giant Prawns were amazing! Followed by a chicken pasta dish! Of course finished off with Limoncello! The customer service was exceptional with the chef checking that everything was okay and a very friendly funny guy! 100% recommend and will be going back.

We popped in with the kids today, early afternoon to grab a bite to eat, and honestly, the food was exceptional! My wife and I have travelled a bit and like eating out. We're real foodies. I wish we'd discovered this place sooner. Maybe the romantic Italian music playing in the background helped or the amazing staff, but it was a wonderful experience and the food was fresh and on point. We'll be back!
