Staff are so attentive and the meal was amazing , even the chef offered to make a soup not on the menu. Would definitely recommend and come back. Outstanding value. We interacted with 5 members of staff that were all helpful and attentive . Will definitely come back

Sublime! We visited for my birthday last Wednesday. Met by the most welcoming hosts, we knew we were in for a treat. Nothing too much trouble and they accommodated our fussy eater without skipping a beat. The flavours…Oh the FLAVOURS, of the sauces were so authentic and delicious. Highly recommend the gnocchi starter (we shared it) and the tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Understated and off the beaten track but well worth a visit! Thank you, we’ll be back

Came here relatively late on Valentine's Day evening after a last min change in plans and all the staff were so welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Food was so tasty, flavoursome, good portions and there was a lovely atmosphere in general. Despite being there late we weren't rushed out and everyone took great care to make sure our meal was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Warm welcome by all staff. Decor and atmosphere very pleasant, Italian background music nice touch.
Great choice of food on menu.
Meals were all fresh produce and well cooked. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
Wash all definitely be returning and would recommend.

Excellent service - friendly and attentive; great, intimate atmosphere; most importantly - absolutely incredible food! Whatever I have here, from a perfectly seared fillet steak to a rigatoni arrabbiata - it’s always one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Can never do enough to look after you and tailor everything to exactly how you like it!

Food and wine was exceptional, pasta served al-dente but I’m sure you can request it to be cooked through if that’s your preference.
A real hidden gem within Chelmsford, shame it’s hidden away in the corner; if on the high street this would excel.

Went for a pre Christmas meal with friends and had a wonderful evening. We were made to feel very welcome and both the food and wine was lovely. We were even treated to a delicious dessert platter on the house. Will definitely return soon...
