The front view shows a long bonnet, narrow new headlights and styling cues from the larger Optima, while the profile looks to European favourites like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz A-Class for some premium inspiration.
In the cabin, the Rio gets Kia’s latest steering wheel design, traditional dials flanking a tall multi-function display, and a large main display in the centre of the dash that follows the current trend of a docked tablet-like mounting
As for body styles, the new Rio has so far been revealed in five-door form only. It remains to be seen if three-door hatch and four-door sedan variants, as featured in the current range, will figure in the new-generation model plans.
