Our courses have been designed to meet skills shortages in the West Midlands, so not only will you be supported to achieve the right qualifications, but we’ll help you to develop skills that employers in your local area really want - helping you to gain employment or to boost your career.

You can study at one of our local colleges in Rodbaston, Cannock, Tamworth or Lichfield across a wide range of career areas. These include accounts, business, art and creative, catering, construction, digital, dog grooming, early years, floristry, health and social care, electrical, English, maths, hair and beauty, languages and travel, sport and photography – so there really is something for everyone, whatever your career goal.

The best bit? Your chosen course may also be free! Adult learners (19+) can apply to the college for support with funding childcare, travel or equipment costs through its bursary scheme. To find out more information please email bursary.enquiries@southstaffs.ac.uk

Not sure what career path you’d like to pursue? One of our STEP UP 19+ programmes could give you an introduction into working in a specific sector as well as providing you with interview techniques, help creating a CV and boosting your confidence.

Prefer to stay at home? No problem, there are tons of online courses you can study from the comfort of your home too. We have a wide range of level 2 distance learning qualifications and nationally recognised CPD certified packages which you can study from your sofa (if you wanted).
