Norton Canes High School Hosts Community Watercolour Exhibition

Children from Norton Primary, Jerome Primary and Norton Canes High School have had the privilege of working with artists from Norton Canes Watercolour Club to prepare works of art on the theme of FESTIVAL.

 Pupils had the opportunity to explore different techniques and experiment with watercolour paints before planning and producing a final piece for the exhibition.

The exhibition is linked to the forthcoming Festival in Norton Canes Village, which takes place on 13th July 2013

This exhibition has been organised by  Norton Canes High School and moves from the High School to Chasewater Innovation Centre from 24th May and will also be on show at the Festival on 13th July 2013.

The competition was judged  on  Friday 17th May by:

Karen Yeomans – Manager of Cannock District Libraries

David  Spencer – Local Artist
