We’re asking youngsters in the District to get out their pencils and paints this festive season and enter our Christmas card competition.  Sixteen lucky youngsters will have the chance to win gift vouchers to enable them to pick their own special prize. There will also be certificates for those entries that are highly commended.

Steve Evans, Director of Bescot Promotions, said "Christmas is all about thinking of others and receiving Christmas cards, so this seemed the perfect combination for our next competition. We look forward to receiving all your cards and wish all of you lots of luck and of course Merry Christmas!”

Councillor Diane Todd, Leader of Town Centre Regeneration, said "Following the successful Easter art competition, I am delighted that we are working with Bescot Promotions again.  The competition will be a great way of encouraging families to visit Cannock and Rugeley town centres over the festive period to see the displayed artwork.  Good luck to everyone who takes part.”

To be in with a chance of winning, children simply need to design their own Christmas card.

Entries should be posted to: Market Office, Cannock Chase Council, Civic Centre, PO Box 28, Beecroft Road, Cannock, WS11 1BG.

The deadline for entries is Friday 5th December.  The competition is open to children aged 16 and under.

The artwork of both winners and runners up will be displayed in Cannock and Rugeley Town Centres in the lead up to Christmas.
