Bagshot First School and the Sure Start Center had a very special day on Thursday when they had a visit from local royal Sophie Countess of Wessex who had been invited to open 2 new class rooms. She was entertained by the children singing and had a guided tour of this wonderful facility. The children were so excited and looked so spic and span in their uniforms.

The facilities provided by this school are very good, not least of which are the staff who have such pride and passion for the school in which they work. The children are their primary concern and it shows. The painted playgrounds, the climbing frames the plants and that's before you go inside the school!!!

After the Countess of Wessex left, there was an afternoon of fun for all the parents and children past and present. They were invited for afternoon tea and go karting, face painting, crafts, make your own smoothy etc. Lots of fun was had by all and every one went home tired and happy.

Congratulations to all the staff and their hard work.
