Sam Lowe - Camberley's Olympic Hope
29th March 2011
... Comments

Sam Lowe is the leading hope for London Olympics 2012 at -78kg in Judo and she is currently unfunded despite being the best prospect for London in her weight category.

She has been training full time at Camberley Judo Club for the last 7 years.

Sam  trains 3 times a day and she also works part time at Pennyhill Park Hotel. Without any funding she will face the difficult decision to miss important training days in order to take on more work to try and support herself.

The complete opposite to what she needs to be doing to get to London Olympics and make us all proud!!!

How can we help? In a nutshell, she requires help with everyday items such as food (any Butchers, Greengrocers or Supermarkets looking to sponsor will do!)and your financial support!

Training is expensive and travelling to competitions can be on top of the cost of everyday living.

Sam is asking if you can please pledge to sponsor a small amount of money, either a weekly, monthly or an one off donation, whatever works best for you.

PLEASE NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL, every penny really does count!

In return for your support she will email updates, stay in touch via twitter, blogs and facebook.

The Best of Camberley will also be running regular updates with Sam's progress.

You will also be a direct part of probably the most exciting and unique sporting events of our lifetimes, a home Olympics.

Sam believes she can get to London Olympics and fly the flag for GB and you can be part of it with her!

SAM LOWE IN ACTION!!
