Rotary Club of Camberley - Haiti Disaster Appeal - Update
27th January 2010
... Comments

The Best of Camberley has been informed by The Rotary Club of Camberley that following the granting of an emergency licence to collect donations for the Haiti Disaster Relief Fund at The Mall in Camberley, Sainsburys at Watchetts Park and Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot last Saturday 23rd January, they collected over £3200 pounds towards  buying Shelter Boxes that Rotary has already provided to many other disaster areas in the past.

The money collected means that 6 more Shelter Boxes can be added to the total already sent out to Haiti so far. This was an incredible effort by the people of Surrey Heath considering so many had probably already given to the original television appeals. Well done and thankyou from The Rotary Club of Camberley
