For all you more senior citizen's out there who remember Pantiles in its hey day, last Sunday was a visit down memory lane. Remember going to Hardys on a Friday night having a few cocktails and some lovely Tex Mex food to set you up for the heavy night ahead. Well last Sunday was Hardys 15 year anniversary!!!!!!! time flies, Ricky the owner had a party for customers and staff past and present. The high light of which was "Flick" who plays Guitar and keyboard and sings like a dream, he was there 15 years ago, so only fitting he should be there for this special night.

I have been fortunate to have seen Flick before and was looking forward to the evening, I was not disappointed. He was joined by a young girl called Carelle a name to watch out for. She has an extraordinary voice which belies her years, (19 last week), totally composed and the songs she sang were all unique in that they were not your typical cover versions, even her version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" was a joy (Incidentally He has just celebrated his 75th birthday with a sell out concert at Madison Square Gardens for all of you who remember him from first time round).

As for Flick he is a legend and you should try and get to one of his gigs if you like rock. He plays every Tuesday at the Sun in Chobham and every Wednesday at the Old Ticket Hall Windsor.

We all had a great night, good food, fun atmosphere, there should be more nights like this.
