The Best of Camberley went along to the opening of the latest venture of the Duffy family in The Square at Lightwater.
George, son of Mike Duffy of Duffys Budgens fame, has proudly opened the doors of George's Coffee Lounge to the shoppers and local business people of Lightwater, so that they can enjoy true barista coffee in sumptuous leather sofas and relaxing surroundings, at prices that undercut the more well known national brands.
George and his manager Vicki Hicks are keen for you to try out their range of coffees including machiato, latte and frappe. The cakes & patisseries are supplied locally by the Hand Made Cake Co. and make a tempting combination whilst taking a break from your shopping or just relaxing over the newspaper headlines.
There is seating for 26 people inside with a further 16 available on the patio in Lightwater Square. Plans are afoot to have a fully heated canopy to further enhance their clients' enjoyment.
