Business Of The Year Awards

On Monday, we hosted our annual awards evening where we presented our Business Of The Year awards to the most recommended local businesses.

We had a fantastic evening at the venue of one of our winners, Pure Hair of Lightwater.

Another award winning member, Roost Cafe and Pantry supplied some delicious Paleo food and there was wine, beer and even a glass of Prosecco to toast the winners!

There was the usual friendly, informal open networking which is the hallmark of our evening events, but this month's one was also to recognise those business members who had received the most testimonials from their customers and therefore proved that they were indeed one of The Best Of the local businesses.

The full list of Camberley finalists (you can click on their names to find out more):

1st in Area: Thorpes Physiotherapy, also 1st in Physiotherapy category UK and Top 100 Businesses UK

2nd in Area: Kall Kwik, 3rd in Printers category UK

3rd in Area: Evolved Pilates, 4th in Health and Fitness category UK

4th in Area: Maple Tree Beauty Salon, 5th in Beauticians category UK

5th in Area: Roost Café and Pantry, 3rd in Cafes category UK

6th in Area: Simply Carpets and Flooring, 4th in Carpets category UK

7th in Area: Pure Hair Salon of Lightwater

8th in Area: Three Mariners Pub, Bagshot

Our worthy winners for the 2nd year in a row were Thorpes Physiotherapy who have got into the habit of routinely asking their patients for reviews and use our widgets to gather and display those reviews on their own website and Facebook page.

Their profile has risen massively as a consequence and prospective patients are much more likely to choose them over competitors.

In an increasingly competitive market, one of the most important ways you can differentiate and elevate yourself from your competition is to gather and display testimonials.

It's been proven that testimonials greatly increase the credibility of a business. A recent  'Local Consumer Review Survey' showed that '72% of potential customers trust a business more if they have positive reviews'.

It's also proven that '88% of people trust online testimonials as much as they do a personal review'.
