Business Solutions Bury College are encouraging businesses to take advantage of the AGE grant, which could see you receive £1500 for hiring an apprentice.

If you think finding the perfect candidate to join your team will be difficult, think again.

Business Solutions Bury College are taking the stress out of hiring an apprentice through their fantastic consultation and search service. All of the hard work, including sourcing, shortlisting and selecting the correct candidate, will be carried out by a member of the employment team, who are dedicated in finding you the perfect apprentice.

Now, what you may not have known is that there is a grant available for local businesses in Bury - which could see your business receive £1500 if you meet the correct criteria.

The AGE grant supports businesses that otherwise would not be able to hire employees between the ages of 16-24 as part of an apprenticeship. This grant has already helped businesses in Bury and thousands across the UK.

The criteria for the AGE grant

  • Your business is based in Greater Manchester
  • You employ less than 250 members of staff
  • You have not employed an apprentice in the last 12 months
  • The apprentice is between the ages of 16 and 24
