The 2013 Halloween Festival takes place on Sunday 27th October, Hamilton Road Park, Whitefield, 11am - 4pm.

The park will be bursting with lots of entertainment, interactive games and crafts, quality food and much more. Our Medieval Story Teller will entertain with ghoulish tales of old, and medieval surgeon interactive workshop and demonstration on how they treated ailments back in the day (not for the squeamish).

There are pumpkin carving workshops with the Pumpkin Lady, masks, create your own lantern, traditional Halloween games (skull hoopla and skull coconut shy), Minstrels Corner (acoustic sets), creepy creatures (snakes, cockroaches, spiders...), bats, hawks and owls display.

Plus hog roast, beer tent (with our very own festival beer made especially for the festival), and a variety of stalls selling fair-trade and new age products. Why not tuck into some of the delicious gourmet treats featuring foods from all around the world. The festival is under cover, and park entrance is £1 (under 3 year olds free) - this entitles you to all the activities taking place in the large tent.

Halloween Festival is an initiative with Bury Council, GM Police/Fire ‘Operation Treacle’ and Whitefield Business Group.

Our community event has proven very popular with locals and festival revellers alike. Go to our website for more details www.halloweenfest.org.uk
