Whatever you choose to do this weekend, make sure that you stay safe. Fireworks can be a dangerous business if you’re unsure what you’re doing, so best to leave it to the professionals and visit an organized display – believe us, you’ll be much more impressed!

(And if you’re looking for a Parkin recipe, we definitely recommend this one. Because of course, any and all events are really about the food on offer!)
