Here at thebestofbury we are always on the lookout for upcoming and seasonal events, and what a busy few months we have ahead of us!

With Halloween, bonfire night and Christmas all on the horizon, I've been on the lookout for fun-filled events for you and your family, nights out that you can go to with your friends and family.

Halloween

The Wizard Academy Experience is a great chance for your little ones to dress up and have a fun day out on the steam trains of East Lancashire Railway! On Thursday 25th October, from 10:25, there will be a return trip from Bury to Rawtenstall with wizard themed activities and an on train buffet.

Another event at the East Lancashire Railway is the ghost train! These trains run from 26th-27th October at 4:00 pm. Don't forget to dress up!

Bury Football Club is also hosting an under 18s Halloween disco. Tickets are £12 and this is a 'spooktacular' night out for teens which is in a safe environment. This will be held at Bury Football Club on the 27th October from 7pm-10pm.

Bonfire Night

The Bury FC Shakers' Fireworks Display is hosting a brilliant firework display and a funfair! This will be held on Sunday 4th November from 5:00pm-8: 00 pm and is lots of fun for the whole family.

Another bonfire and firework display will be held at The Swan Hotel. Tickets are just £2 for adults and £1 for kids. This will be held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Christmas

They don't call it 'the most wonderful time of the year' for nothing! The festive season is a fun-filled time for all ages.

The 'Now That's What We Call Christmas Party Night', is a night to let loose this holiday season with your friends! The four-course meal is to die for and there will be dancing until late (and of course lots to drink!). The Stables Country Club host this event, why not take a look at thebestofbury website for more details?

The annual Christmas light switch on is back for another year at The Victoria Walshaw! This is a fun, festive night to kick-start your festivities and is held on 30th November.
