The Festival of Trees is now well and truly underway and there’s going to be a few people that walk away with some great Christmas gifts or treats in a couple of weeks time.

What’s it all about?

Situated in The Millgate Shopping Centre not far from BHS and Waterstones is a magical shop full of wonderful trees, trees that have been donated by local businesses in a bid to raise money for Bury Hospice.

Each tree is decorated with something that represents the business.

Every day until the 6th December each and every one of you will have the opportunity to bid on one of the trees.  This is a silent auction with one lucky winner scooping the tree and all of  it’s contents when the event has finished.

Our “tree of treats” as I like to call it has some wonderful gifts, all donated by our very generous members – in fact there are over £700 of gifts on our tree alone, some could be great Christmas gifts for others,  others you’d maybe like to keep for yourself.  One thing’s for sure though, someone is going to get a wonderful treat at the end of it all!

So, what are those treats?

*A bouquet of flowers - Ainsworth Conservatories

*A special edition boxed wine - Belvoir Lettings

*A bottle of champagne - AD Carpentry

*£25 M&S gift card - AFG LAW

*A 2 hour garden tidy - Bespoke Landscapes

*A Glam Glow facial - Leelawadee Authentic Thai Massage and Spa

*A family ticket for 2 adults and 3 children - The East Lancashire Railway

*6 months of mini car valets - Big Benz Drop Zone

*5 daily lunches to the value of £5 - Delicious Sandwich Bar

*A calendar, cards and cake package - The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity

*An iTunes voucher - JG Singing

*7 ft Christmas tree - Newbank Garden Centre

*A table for 2 to the value of £20 - Delicious at The Fusiliers Museum

*Sunday lunch for 2 - Bury Masonic Hall

*A 1 hour massage - Leelawadee Authentic Thai Massage and Spa

*A free photoshoot of your dog - Bark-n-Ride

*A VIP night for 6 - Mecca Bingo

*A CND Shellac manicure and pedicure - Nothing But Nails

*A free portrait sitting - Martin Stembridge Photography

Wow.......................................and breath!

Now that’s some gift for one lucky person, wouldn’t you say?

Other trees are Orbis Solicitors, the Village Hotel (which includes gym membership),  Mr Simms Sweet Shop and more......

So, what are you waiting for?  It’s all for a marvellous cause and you could potentially bag yourself a bargain in the process.
