Valentines is a special time of year for all those in love. It is a time when loved ones go out of their way to show they care. The 14 Days of Love has seen the best businesses across the UK go head to head to earn the title of ‘The Most Loved Business in the UK. For the 14 days leading up to Valentine’s Day consumers had the chance to review their favourite local businesses and in doing so, raise the profile of their community. During the competition tens of thousands of reviews were added – that equates to a whopping one review added every eight seconds. With such fantastic results, it’s safe to say people here in Bury have really done their bit!
We’re pleased to announce that several of the Most Loved Businesses come from Bury, with Tompsons not only voted the best takeaway in town but also the second Most Loved Business across the UK in all categories! Other winners in their UK category included UKcostumes4U for Fancy Dress, People Matters in Human Resources, Bespoke Landscapes in Landscape Gardeners and last but not least, Santino for Italian Restaurants.
And of course, the 14 Days of Love just wouldn’t be the same without the inimitable Steve from S & S Joinery, who has defended his title of the Most Loved Carpenter in the UK for the fourth year running!
However, the 14 Days of Love campaign isn’t just something that comes and goes again every year – it’s something that creates a real impact for local businesses and local people.
