The Run For All Bury 10K on Sunday 15th September is sponsored by thebestofbury,

Once again the Bury 10K fun run will be raising money in support of charities that are important to so many of us, the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, The Bury Hospice – Touching Local Lives, The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity, WHAG working with women who are homeless and with women, men and children who are fleeing domestic abuse, to name only four of the deserving causes supported by this outstanding fun event.

Supported by the ASDA Foundation, a charitable corporate foundation that gives independent grants and support for locally relevant projects across the country to make a real difference to local people, and sponsored by thebestofbury, the event aims to bring the community together in a spirit of fun to raise much needed income that in turn helps those who are most in need in our community. The event is staged in partnership with the Bury-based ‘I Will If You Will’ (IWIYW) fitness movement, which is delivered by Bury Council with Lottery funds from Sport England.

Would you like to join in the Run For All Bury 10K but not sure if you can? We offer some answers that may help.

The purpose of thebestofbury sponsored 10k fun run is to bring together the community to raise money by participation, sponsorships, and by donations. The community has a major part to play by lining the route and cheering on the runners and by donating on the day.

The event is a fun run with people taking part across the community regardless of their level of ability but with a big heart and the desire to join in. Please, support the Run For All Bury 10k – about 6 miles – however you can and cheer the runners on.
