Dr Mohsin Patel, head dentist at the new Bolton clinic, and dental nurse Sophie Henderson from Blackpool will be leaping a massive 10,000 feet to raise money for Bridge2Aid, an international charity.
Synergy Dental Clinic is a big supporter of Bridge2Aid, a charity that provides dental treatment for patients in Tanzania and Africa, where oral health checks are not done regularly.
The international charity needs to raise £50,000 in order to continue providing dental care abroad after their funding was cut earlier this year; this is where the skydiving comes into it.
Dr Patel and dental nurse Sophie Henderson are taking part in the sky dive on the 23rd March to raise £1000 for the charity. Both of them are afraid of heights!
This isn’t the first time Synergy Dental Clinic has raised money for the life-saving charity. Last year clinical director of two practices, Dr Zuber Bagasi climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland with a group of local dentists; together they raised an amazing £3000.
