After spending a week abroad recently I saved over £150 in receiving calls to my mobile using a Worldsim card instead of "ripoff" roaming rates. All I had to do was unlock my mobile handset [easy to do], swap sim card for another one with exclusive UK [07etc] number on it and change my normal voicemail announcement to "Hi I'm away on business at the moment; if you need to speak to me right away please redial 07etc......" SIMPLE
You can preadvise friends, family & work colleagues to call you on that number and they pay standard UK mobile rates or nothing as it's part of their own free mins.
