Radcliffe Local Area Partnership meets on Wednesday November 25 and your opinions are wanted for the future of Radcliffe’s town centre!

If you ask me, it's about time Radcliffe got a little facelift, the great people and businesses who reside there deserve a better town centre. This is your chance to share your thoughts and ideas for the new Radcliffe, come along and make sure you're heard!

To kickstart the regeneration, design consultants URBED will update residents on plans for the town centre and discuss the next steps in the process, which will include consultation with local people.

Councillor Tony Cummings, chairman of Radcliffe LAP, said: “During the very successful “round table” discussions at the October meeting we discussed in great detail the future of Radcliffe and the priorities we have set out within the Radcliffe Local Community Plan. Following on from this we look forward to hearing in more detail the next steps of the regeneration of Radcliffe town centre.”

Other issues that were raised in the last LAP meeting, such as worklessness and health, will be discussed. There will also be updates from partners including the police and fire service.

The meeting is at Radcliffe Civic Suite and starts at 6pm. The usual open forum and public question time will be on the agenda in the second half of the meeting. Don't miss this opportunity to shape Radcliffe's future!
