Nominations are now OPEN for the 2012/2013 Bury Sports Awards

There are six categories where individuals or clubs can be entered through the nomination process, with the winners of each category going forward to represent Bury at the Greater Manchester Sports Awards.

There are also 5 special recognition awards; Young Leader Award, Prestwich Special Recognition Award, Radcliffe Special Recognition Award, Primary School Special Recognition Award, Secondary School Special Recognition Award.

Nominations will open on Monday 1 April 2013 and close on Friday 26 July 2013

Greater Manchester Sports Awards

Friday 8 November 2013 The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club

The 10 Greater Manchester Boroughs hold their own award ceremonies to recognise the dedication and achievement of those involved in sport across their Borough.

Winners will be awarded in the categories of Volunteer, Coach, Sports Achiever, Disabled Sports Achiever, Club of the Year and Unsung Hero: Special Recognition Award are put forward to the Greater Manchester Sports Awards.

'Get Coaching' funding is now available for all registered clubBURY clubs. £200 per person towards Level 1 & 2 coaching qualifications and £50 per person for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses e.g. First Aid, Child Protection etc. click here to make your nominations!
