Just who can you trust these days?

It's a question often asked, especially when parting with hard earned cash.

With social media at the forefront of many of our lives these days, it's all too easy to ask the simple question, "do you know a good xxx?"
Whilst some will give you honest opinions on the services that they've used personally, others will jump on the bandwagon to offer their own. Quite frankly, these could be people that you really don't want to be dealing with, especially if you want a good, honest and reliable job doing.

At thebestofbury we're proud to work with the trades that we do. Every one of them has a bank of reviews that genuine people have written over a period of time and have been personally recommended by the local community.

Our system works in a similar way to that of a well known reviews site; a review left for one of our businesses has to be delivered with a valid email address, without this, we simply cannot use it. Once we have submitted the said review, it's then down to the person that wrote it to verify it - if they don't, it never goes live.

Using such a system keeps it credible, transparent and fair. These are honest reviews from those that
have genuinely used the service of the company, and for us, almost all of the time, they are absolutely
top notch.

White van man - not here!
Our tradespeople travel in vehicles that are recognisable, with their brand proudly displayed. You know who they are, they are not trying to hide their identity. Having that transparency instills trust, you'll always find them, not that you'll need to. They 're happy to display their phone number, email address and website.

Don't be won over by cheap prices and fast availability.
As they say, buy cheap, buy twice. We're not saying that if someone is available at short notice that they're not good at what they do, in some instances, jobs can be cancelled which create availability, however be wary.
There are so many posts we see on Facebook nowadays that look like people are desperate for work - clearly not a good advert that says that you're busy and worthy of parting with your cash for.
By the same token a cheap job in the short term can cost you twice as much in the long term, especially if
another trade has to come in to put that job right.

We can't tell you who to use, that's down to personal preference, but we can just say be wary.

Read the reviews, see what other's say. Many have fallen foul of the rogues and we'd hate for you to be one of them.
