Now that Autumn is with us, leaves starting to turn on the trees around us, and our young people back to school, thoughts are beginning to turn to Christmas and wise party planners are already dusting off the year planners and looking hard at diaries to be ready in good time.

The Bolholt Country Park Hotel is the fine local venue that is perfect for any event, whether one is planning a party for a small team of key personnel or a more lavish dinner dance for a large group of people The Bury based Bolholt Country Park Hotel can accommodate you with elegance and style. The Summerfield suite has sufficient space for 90 people for a formal sit-down meal, or less formally a buffet for up to 140 people. The Hotel team are happy to arrange seat covers, flowers, and similar items to make your Christmas Party spectacular. Their resident DJ is available to help the party go with a swing!

In addition, to avoid curtailing your pleasure The Bolholt Country Park Hotel is a 61-room hotel enabling guests to extend their visit.

Enjoy one of their renowned Christmas Party Nights with a delicious three course meal, followed by their house DJ, dancing and music until late. From Friday 29th November & Friday 20th December, Price £27.95 pp.

The menu consists of:

A choice of

Carrot and coriander soup (v) served with baked petit pain, creamy garlic button mushrooms (v) on a toasted ciabatta topped with rocket and parmesan shavings, grilled halloumi and serrano ham brochette topped with cherry tomato and red pepper coulis and balsamic syrup, scottish salmon and baby prawn cocktail chopped apple, salad, cos lettuce dressed with Marie Rose sauce and paprika.

Butter and herb roast turkey crown with pigs in blankets savoury stuffing and roast turkey gravy, or roast topside of beef with Yorkshire pudding and rich stock gravy, pan fried sea bass and king prawns with a garlic chilli butter sauce, butternut squash and sage risotto (v) topped with poached egg and red Leicester croquette.

Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla custard, or steamed Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, coffee and vanilla crème brulee with homemade shortbread brandy snap basket filled with mint choc chip ice cream.
