This week I'd like to say thank you all who attended our event on the 17th and made it such an enjoyable and productive evening! There was a great atmosphere in the room and we can safely say from the feedback we've had that many people picked up useful contacts and new business. Speed networking also proved to be popular again; it's a great way of meeting lots of businesses in a short space of time. We had over 120 local businesses attend and 30 exhibition stands.

I have to say it far exceeded my expectations and I was greatly impressed with the variety of businesses that attended. It was really well organised and very easy to get around and talk to as many or few as I wanted to, everybody seemed eager to share and give advice, or their opinions on products or the general state of the economy. For my part I picked up some very useful leads with some very firm contacts for leaflet distribution which was very encouraging, I await the outcome this coming week. It also gave me a platform for Durham Landscapes and T.W.P. with a lot of people taking leaflets. I will definitely be attending future events as I feel they are a must to develop any business.
