Walmersley Golf Club, set high on the moors above Bury, is known for its stunning views across Manchester, North Cheshire and even Merseyside on a clear day. But on Sunday 15th June, it’s not just about the golf, it’s about bringing families together for a day full of fun, laughter and memory-making.
From morning till late afternoon, the course and clubhouse will be buzzing with excitement as families come together to enjoy a fantastic line-up of activities, games and great food. Whether you're swinging a club or chasing balloon animals, it’s the perfect excuse to get outdoors and spend quality time with the people who matter most.
What’s Happening on the Day?
There are two ticket options depending on how you'd like to join in:
Spectator Tickets – £10 per person
Perfect if you just want to come along and enjoy the atmosphere. These tickets include access to all the fun activities plus the delicious BBQ.
Team Tickets – £60 per family
This includes a family four-ball game of golf, a goodie bag for younger competitors, entry into a prize draw, and full access to all the activities and the BBQ.

Food, Views and Good Vibes
Of course, no fun day is complete without food. The BBQ will be sizzling with burgers, sausages and more, keeping everyone smiling. The clubhouse bar will also be open serving drinks if you fancy a break from the action.
And if you just want to sit back and take it all in, you’ll have some of the best views in the area while you do it. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, watch the fun unfold and catch up with friends and family.
