In June this year, in partnership with Bury Twinning Association, Bury Council is hosting the XX International Youth Sports Festival (IYSF). The IYSF is an annual sporting and cultural event involving twin and friendship towns from across Europe.
Each year the festival is hosted by one of the participating towns. In 2012 the festival will be hosted by Bury between 21 and 24 June which coincides with when the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay will pass through the borough on the afternoon of Saturday 23 June.
To help assure the success of the 2012 IYSF the Bury Sport and Physical Activity Service are seeking sponsors and/or suppliers at this prestigious and high profile event. We would be more than happy to arrange a visit to your organisation to discuss how your business can support, benefit and share the inspiration...Be Part of It.
The IYSF will bring participants and visiting dignitaries to Bury from Angouleme and Tulle in France, Dueville in Italy, Lousada in Portugal, Schorndorf in Germany and Smolensk in Russia.
As the IYSF and the Olympic Torch Relay are taking place over the same weekend we have a fantastic opportunity to build excitement in the run-up to London 2012 and as such Bury Council will be conducting an extensive marketing campaign. We hope that you are as interested as we are in making this a special and memorable occasion for everyone involved.
