Dr Zuber Bagasi from Synergy Dental Clinic has recently taken part in a charity dragon boat race to help raise money for The Wish Upon a Star Foundation. The Wish Upon A Star Foundation is a charity which makes the dreams of children suffering from life-threatening illnesses come true. They work tirelessly to ensure that children between the age of two and 16 get one wish granted, whether than means a trip to Disneyland or meeting their celebrity idols.
On the 17th August 2014, this local dentist plus his team of 17, braved the unpredictable Manchester weather in three separate heats. Their team, inside a very cool Dragon boat, came third, second and first, beating their previous record! Collectively, this dragon boat race raised around £19,000 for The Wish Upon A Star Foundation.
