Bury Girls & Ladies Football Club is set to re-launch their adult section of the Club ahead of the summer. Trials will soon take place to select players to take the Bury squad forward in 2013. This will then be followed by a full pre-season campaign as the team gears up for the new 2013/14 season.
Over the last 13 years, Bury Girls & Ladies FC has grown to be the biggest all girls Charter Standard Development Football Club in the Bury area and has demonstrated great success in their junior and youth sections, with 10 teams currently competing in the North West. The time is now right to bring the open age section in line with the rest of the Club. 2013 will see the creation of U18 and First Team squads at the Club with new players arriving joining those who have progressed through the Club’s junior and youth sections to make an impact in seasons ahead.
A new Management Team has already been put in place to take over the development of the adult section. With the experience, fresh ideas and enthusiasm of our new coaching team this is an exciting time for all at the Club.
