As part of Bury Light Night, the Adult Learning Service is providing:

- A life drawing taster wrokshop at the Gallery, led by local artist Lynn Kirkley, who is also our Creative Arts Curriculum Manager.

- The creation of a giant remembrance poppy in collaboration with the Fusiliers Museum, on which people can write their messages of remembrance, hope and encouragement for all in the uniformed services.

- There will be a demonstration of how to 'paint' a building at night and record it on camera by just using an ordinary torch to light it with. The technique has been used  to light interiors of large buildings such as cathedrals but outside the result is not as controlled and the images can be spectacular or just weird. Every time a shot that is taken it will be different its great fun for children and adults. Use our torch to light the building whilst the photographer shoots the image and then you can view it on screen. Just pop along and help us light up the old Bank building opposite the Fusiliers.

- "A Taste of the Med" - in partnership with Heroes Café, we are providing a taste of Mediterranean cuisine and languages
